Group of ten dessert, luncheon, or salad forks with the round handle end turned up, three with a deer or horse crest, two with a falcon crest, one with a stag, one with a mythical creature, one with a raised arm holding a twig, one with an engraved "B" monogram, and one with an "HCH" monogram, all hand engraved on the back face of the handle end. The group weighs a total of 12.36 troy ounces, and the two forks with the falcon crest measure 6 3/4 inches long, and the other eight measure between 6 1/4 to 6 5/8 inches long.
All marked on the back with the English Hallmarks (see photos): lion, leopard's head (crowned or later pieces without crown) , various date letters, various makers, and duty mark. There are fine shallow surface scratches overall, and tiny nicks, scratches and some wear on the tines, and the crests are worn, otherwise in fine antique condition.
