Swan necked spout, is fitted with a plain hinged domed cover and e bonised handle and thumbpiece set in plain sterling silver sockets. Viners origins date back to Sheffield in the early 1900s.

Emile Viner, together with his brother, Adolf, a director of Viner's, Ltd. Was one of the largest cutlery and silverware firms of the world. As immigrant jews, Adolf and Emile changed their name from Viener to Viner in November 1925. Their company's manufacture of helmets and other war items is described in Sheffield's Great War and Beyond, by Peter Warr (Pen and Sword Books, 2015). Viners, now part of The Rayware Group, is a highly distinguished, trusted and much loved brand, steeped in British Heritage.

Hallmarked with the Lion Passant (guardant) standard mark. The'Crown' town mark of Sheffield. V' Viners Ltd - Emile Viner, Bath Street, Sheffield. Date Letter'T' dating it to 1961. The coffee pot measures 20cm (top of lid), by 24.5cm (spout to handle) and 10cm (wide).
