You are viewing a delightful Georgian silver teapot with concave panelled sides, a domed cover and carved fruitwood handle. It is engraved throughout with bright-cut decoration with ribbon tied floral swags and 2 central vacant oval cartouches.
It is fully hallmarked on the underside for George Smith & Thomas Hayter, makers, London 1802. It is approximately 17 centimeters maximum height by 25cm maximum from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout. The total gross weight of the teapot is approximately 408 grams.
