This is an antique English sterling silver Georgian coffee pot with footed stand, fresh from an old estate. This has bright cut engraving decorations of intricate garlands all around the pot. The pot and stand are original and were made to go together.
They are marked London 1784, and have the stamp for sterling and king George, and bear the same makers mark. Both pieces are monogrammed EEMC. This measures about 12 1/2" high with the tray and 7" wide. The pot measures about 12 1/4" high, 6 1/2" wide with the handle, and 4 1/2 deep.
The tray measures about 5 3/8" diameter and 7/8" high. The total weight is 29.22 ounces.May be the mark of J. Denzilow, but more research should be done. These need to be polished and have light surface scuffs from age and use. The lid closes a little askew. These are monogrammed EEMC, which could be polished out. Together these weigh 909 grams total before packing.
