Made during the reign of George II in 1754 this highly stylized bulbous pear shaped creamer jug sits on three hoof footed pads and is decorated in repousse with floral motifs throughout. The front underneath the spout has a blank cartouche which could be monogrammed by the new owner. Marked under base: Lion passant(denotes sterling silver), indistinct makers marks, Leopards head (London city mark) and t (year mark for 1754) This would make a great addition to your rare antique silver or Georgian collection.
MEASUREMENTS Creamer measures 3.75" tall by 3" wide by 3.25 deep and weighs 2.6oz. CONDITION This creamer is in good condition considering age and use (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
