ENGLISH STERLING COFFEE POT 1955 ADIE BROS. A very fine mid-century British sterling silver coffee pot in the Georgian manner. From the Birmingham shop of the Adie Bros, in 1955. In classic slender oval form with reeded base and rim. Hand decorated shell crown oval medallion, never monogrammed, united by star burst medallion, bell flower and streaming vine. Bright cut engraved shell and partial sun border. Retains the original leaf framed pineapple and sterling bell cap finials. Ruffled leaf crown spout and original double scroll composite handle. This Georgian style coffee pot is 11 inches and 31 1/2 standard ounces. Mild surface wear and couple tiny, shallow pin head dinks lower body.
