Metal tests from 800 to 925 sterling. Cupped collet set, foil back paste stones.
Paste stones were hand cut and it is said that they took more skill to facet than real gemstones. The necklace also shows some tool marks on the metal. It is either from England or France. Average size of stones: 11mm x 8.3mm.
