Large Antique Georgian 1805 Sterling Silver Teapot Tea Pot Sheffield 616 grams
Offered here is a large antique Georgian Sterling Silver Teapot Kettle. This Tea Pot stands 6 1/4" in height on four ball feet and spans 12" in length handle to spout. The oval lid is hinged and closes snugly on the body. This was made in Sheffield England and is fully hallmarked for Sterling with and Sheffield with King George III and has a date letter for 1805. The makers mark in the center is too rubbed for me to read. This teapot is in good over all condition with a couple of small dimples to the body and one of the ball feet shows some wear on the very bottom. There are no significant big dents. This Teapot weighs a substantial 616 grams or 20 ounces. A very nice antique teapot to use or add to any collection.
