The marks (image 8-9) suggest that this piece is from London in 1799, however it is missing the Georgian duty head for that year, and furthermore the lid is not stamped with any standard purity mark. These signs indicate that this piece is not English, however Chinese export and Canadian silver constantly replicated the english marks.
