A fine example of a Georgian solid Silver milk or cream jug with an elegant reeded border around the rim and curved handle, stood on a square base. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 85g. It is clearly hallmarked on the base for James Young, London, 1792.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint internal surface marks and a few light surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
