A rare large Georgian sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1809 with the makers marks being IL for John Lias. It has been superbly designed being made to what it termed Old English Pattern and the terminal has been engraved with the initials I. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures 11.25 inches (28.5cms) long by 2 inches (5.1cms) wide and weighs 96 grams.
