This is a fine set of 8 large antique sterling silver dinner forks made by Paul Storr and hallmarked in London 1810. They are in very good condition and all have identical hallmarks. Of kings pattern they are made with a thick gauge of silver (each fork is approx 3.5 ozs) and there is an engraving of a wheat bushel on the reverse of each handle. Hallmarks are clear and identical on each fork.
Paul Storr is regarded as the finest English silversmith of the 19th century and he produced silver items for royalty.
