Silver Tea Caddy Spoon. Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham
On offer is a petite Silver Tea Caddy spoon with a bone handle, hallmarked for Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1810. Measuring 65mm long and 25mm at its widest point and weighing 4.5g including handle. The bowl is shovel shaped with an engraved letter'B' on the reverse. The hallmarks are stamped on the inner rear of the bowl. Samuel Pembertons hallmark appears to have overstruck another and is sited upside down compared to the other marks. In good antique condition with surface scratches you would expect from a piece over 200 years old. All of our items have been catalogued and photographed to the best of our abilities.
