This tiny vinaigrette has hallmarks on every section. They all bear the makers mark IT for I believe John Thornton, a Birmingham silver maker in the early 1800's. Each piece also has a lion passant. It has been gilded inside but this is wearing through in places. There are a few pin sized indents on the outer, as may be expected for an item of silver this age.
It measures just approx 2cm x 1.5cm x 0.7cm. The item "Small silver George 111 Vinaigrette" is in sale since Sunday, May 10, 2020. This item is in the category "Antiques\Silver\Solid Silver\Vinaigrettes".The seller is "antiguadivin" and is located in Newark. This item can be shipped worldwide.
