Stunning English Antique Georgian Large & Heavy Sterling silver Fish Server. A wonderful example of an Large and heavy English Sterling silver Georgian Fish server made in London by Joseph Dewin of Clerkenwell, London, made in 1824 during the reign of King George IV. The piece has the benefit of being un-monogrammed and free from initials.Would make a superb gift. It has a highly polished silver finish to its entirety, wonderful large elongated arched neck, leading onto large fish server tray with pierced decoration to centre. Superb workmanship to its entirety and in super condition for its age. Hard to find items like this in such a fine condition, also having King George IV side cameo as this king only reigned for ten years.
A superb collectors piece made by good period silversmith makers of the times. Would make a superb gift as this could be used during todays dinner service. Joseph Dewin of Clerkenwell, London.
