This is a Beautiful fine quality Rare Georgian Coiled Double Headed Snake (Serpent) Ladies Bangle , i would estimate this wonderful Bangle dates to circa 1820 making it nearly 200 years old, though this is just an estimate, the quality is stunning and the decoration is breath taking, the body of this wonderul Bangle is crafted in the form of a coiled snake with a head to each end, this is then decorated with the most beautiful white metal pique work which is then inset with three beautiful paste clear stones to each end, its breath taking, the pique work contrast beautifully with the colour of the serpents body, the quality of the craftsmanship is superb. This would have once belonged to a very wealthy Lady in the and been worn at many an occassion ie:- dinner parties and the many dance's she was to attend, this was many years ago when things were so very different , if this.
