Made in London, by Alice & George Burrows, in 1814. A Very Good Georgian Sterling Silver Teapot by very respected makers. Made in London, in 1814, by Alice & George Burrows. This Teapot is of Rounded Rectangular Fluted and of Oriental form and influence. A Rectangular Finial (also hallmarked) to the Domed Flush Hinged Cover (Hallmarked on the inner) all in good order. The Scroll Handle (also hallmarked) with a Thumb piece and insulators. Of Very Good Weight of silver upon Four Ball Feet. This teapot is in exceptional order, of Museum quality and as with all the lady makers of lovely proportion and form. Hallmarked to base, cover, finial and base of handle. The Teapot: Very Good Condition. Lid and handle two good marks each. Length: Eleven and a quarter inches 28.3cm. Height: Five and three quarter inches 14.4cm. Weight: 25.25 ounces 716 grams.
