Would make a delightful addition to a collection. A very fine example of 302 years of age. Maker & Date Hallmark: Maker Joseph Bell I (Registered Oct 1716).
Date hallmark 1717 and assay mark London. (Britannia Standard 95.84% Silver). Measurements: Height 10.3 cm, diameter across top 7.7 cm and diameter across base 9.3 cm. Weight: Silver weight 260 Grams. Condition: Excellent clean condition for its age with no dents, splits, holes, knocks or repairs.
Just some light surface marks and the odd tiny ding which is to be expected with its age and use. But nothing which is that noticeable or major. A great example for its 302 years of age.The top and bottom rims are not pushed in or out of shape. Stands perfectly well with no wobble. The scroll shaped handle is in excellent condition just has some light dings but nothing major. The interior is in excellent clean condition.
The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still mainly visible just whats to be expected with an object of this age. There are no engraved presentation inscriptions, initials, monograms or family crest marks. An engraving may of been possibly erased from the front at some time but has not caused any thinning.
